What Makes Us Special
Just right price
We are neither a luxury tour company nor a budget travel company. We offer that sweet spot right in the middle. The places we go feel luxurious without luxury pricing. Our accommodations are clean, simple, and attractive without being over the top. The restaurants we visit specialize in homemade cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. While we may see some tourist hotspots occasionally, our focus is more on the local history, art, and unique places that make us travelers, not tourists.
Just right size
Our groups are small, usually around eight women. This allows us the flexibility to travel, unencumbered, and to blend into our surroundings a bit. From our vantage point, we can see and experience the more authentic aspects of each locale. We get to know you as a traveler before and during the trip, partnering you with like-minded women travelers. Our trips are an opportunity to create lifetime friendships.
Just right balance
We believe in balance. Our trips build in some time to be a human being rather than just a human doing. Taking downtime to read, write, rest, meditate, walk, or explore on your own is as important as experiencing all the wondrous sites in our destinations. We will not be moving from place to place each night; rather, we have a home base for most of the week, from which we venture out to explore.

Our Northern Italy Trip
Highlights

Feltre
Feltre is a medieval town perched on the precipice of the Alps. Our base camp will be Alla Casetta bed and breakfast, hidden in the forested foothills. This beautiful and cozy abode, nestled in a tree-laden valley, will act as our home base for the week. It is the perfect place to come back to each day for some rest and rejuvenation before a scrumptious dinner.
Prosecco Country
We spend one of our days hiking in a beautiful local canyon on our way to Valdobbiadene, which is the prosecco-making region of Italy. There we will rent bikes and take a tour of the region, stopping at some wineries and having a picnic lunch.

Venice
At the end of the trip, we spend two glorious days in the floating city of Venice. Rich in art, history, architecture, food and wine, Venice is one of the most unique places on the planet. You will have some freedom on these days to explore the many experiences that this ancient city has to offer. We'll meet up for dinner each night and enjoy excellent food and wine in al fresco restaurants along canals.
The Dolomites
We spend one of our days heading up into the heart of the Dolomites. This day you have a choice to do a via ferrata (a protected hike (with some rock scrambling moves and suspension bridge) up to the rifugio or take the gondola to the top. Either way you will be met with breathtaking 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and a delicious Italian lunch.

Our Morocco Trip
Highlights

Camel Trek
We will spend one night in the Sahara desert on a camel trek, arriving at our Berber camp for sunset. We'll feast on stars (and food!) before we retire to our luxurious tents. Waking up for sunrise in the Sahara is an unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever.
Tangier
We'll spend time in Tangier, a lively coastal city blending Northern African and Southern European influences. As you take in views of the Strait of Gibraltar, you'll hear a mix of languages while wandering the maze-like souk and historic medina.
We’ll explore its rich history and shop for treasures like leather and rugs before retreating to our cozy riad, where we'll be pampered with delicious multi-course meals.

Fez

A trip to Morocco would be incomplete without a visit to Fez, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart. Its UNESCO-listed medina, one of the world's largest car-free zones, is a maze of narrow alleys, bustling souks, and stunning medieval architecture.
Beyond its lively streets, Fez showcases Morocco’s rich heritage. From intricate madrasas to serene riads, the city feels like a living museum. Whether savoring fragrant tagines or watching artisans at work, every corner tells a story of tradition and craftsmanship.
Wine Country
We will journey through Morocco’s breathtaking wine and olive oil region, where rolling vineyards and ancient olive groves stretch between the Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic coast. We’ll visit the historic Meknes region, learning about centuries-old traditions of winemaking and olive oil pressing. We’ll taste robust reds and crisp whites, paired with fresh bread dipped in golden, locally pressed olive oil. As we sip and savor, we’ll soak in stunning views of the countryside, making this an unforgettable experience for the senses.

Our Greece Climbing/Hiking Trip
Highlights

Climbing the Cliffs of Kalymnos
Kalymnos may just be the most fun climbing on the planet. Rife with easy, moderate and difficult routes, single-and multi-pitch, there is something for everyone on Kalymnos. You will feel like a rock star climber on this trip. Listen to the surf hitting the rocks while you scamper up 40-meter moderates! Just when you think it doesn't get any better than this, you will take a boat to a restaurant and dine al fresco, recounting your exploits over dinner!

Sailing
Greece is probably most known for its azure waters and white sand beaches. A trip would not be complete without a rest day sailing along the coast or island hopping. Immerse yourself in the crystal clear sea while sipping on a spritz and eating the freshest seafood you can imagine! Not sure this rest day can be beat!
Athens and the Acropolis
A true visit to Greece is impossible without taking some time to marvel at the iconic Acropolis. Take in sweeping views of the amazing city of Athens from this limestone rise. Channel your inner goddess in this ancient mythical home of Aphrodite! Follow in the footsteps of Socrates and Plato before you savor some of the best cuisine in the world.

Exploring the Island
Kalymnos offers much more than world class climbing and azure waters. Hop on your scooter and explore all this amazing island has to offer...from scrumptious local honey to 4000-year old archaeological sites to the most amazing views you can imagine. Follow goat trails to caves on thigh-busting hikes only to end up in a quaint village, sipping a drink and chatting with the locals. There is always something fun to do!

Traveling in a group through Italy with Kimberley as our leader, in four words; adventurous, wondrous, delicious, and hilarious! We swam through slot canyons, climbed a Via Ferrata, biked Prosecco country, discovered magical hikes and majestic views. We indulged in cuisine from rustic Italian to fine dining. And through it all, laughter filled the air, the van, the dining table, the bnb, the Dolimiti!

Meet your guide...
I grew up traveling in the US and doing a lot of camping with my family and on Girl Scout trips. Oh the days of waking up in the summers floating in our tents because of nonstop Pennsylvania rain! Even though I didn’t have access to world travel back then, I can look back and see my adventurous spirit as I begged my parents to let me and my friends sleep in the “fort” we made in the cornfield across from my house (this was pre- Freddy Krueger) or as I convinced my friends to climb up on top of our elementary school to hang out and play kickball on the roof. (getting up was ok but down was a little harder)
It wasn’t until I won a scholarship to do an exchange program in Colombia during high school that I developed my international “wanderlust” that has not waned in over 30 years! I’ve traveled all over many continents, sometimes with others and sometimes solo, and I’ve had countless adventures, planned and unplanned. In my younger years, I figured out quickly that the more cheaply I was able to travel, the longer I could make my trips last. I was the master of budget backpacker travel. I could make two pairs of underwear and one non-wrinkle dress last weeks! I could sniff out free food anywhere!
Long gone, though, are the days when I paid $5.00 for a room with plywood walls (which turned out to be a brothel) in Quito, slept on the ground on pieces of bamboo in Thailand to wake up to leeches all over my body or “hitched” a ride on a cargo plane in the Colombian jungle. Don’t ask.
These days I call myself a “medium maintenance” traveler. I fall somewhere between the budget travel of my youth and luxury travel. I enjoy the smaller luxuries when romping around the world these days, like a fire and a good book in the Alps or an engaging conversation with friends or strangers on a ferry in Greece or a cocktail on a veranda overlooking the Caribbean. I also fall somewhere between the “unplanned, go-with-the-flow, sleep anywhere I land” traveler and the “minute-by-minute, no time to pee itinerary follower” type. I’ve landed (no pun intended) on the idea that the best trips are planned but open and flexible. A friend of mine used to say “Hey, can we plan to be spontaneous next week?” That is how I travel. Planned room for spontaneity. We have to make room for adventure to come to us sometimes. And sometimes it comes in the least expected ways…
Can’t wait to have an adventure with you!
Kimberley
